Capacity Building & Gender Equality

Capacity Building is the tool that helps people understand the rapid change process initiated and strengthened by the globalization efforts that have opened up these tribal regions for exploitation of resources. The people will face it boldly deal with it and find alternatives. Keeping the view in the mind Axitech Foundation has given importance to educate CBOs in grassroots level to understand of governmental plans, policies & facilities which will help them to demand their rights. Orientation was given to the villages’ leaders as well as to the PRI members to execute their duty in a people centric approach. In this connection awareness camp were conducted and posters & leaflets dissemination to generate a mass awareness on PRI system as well as NREGA & RTI. The objective of this initiation was to increase participation level of people in Pallisabha & Gram Sabha. Choosing a good representative for Panchayat .

SHG Promotion: Axitech Foundation is promoting Self Help Groups in differnt GP of Puri district. These Groups are making regular meeting, savings and many income generating activities. Axitech is also promoting a Cooperative society and strengthening the marketing system in the area.
Women rights: Axitech is always making continuous effort to empower women. The women are participating in rallies, Dharna, meetings and Axitech foundation is trying to include them in the mainstream of development. We are organizing workshop on women violence and women trafficking in different blocks & GP OF PURI REGION. Our team is trying to develop the leadership quality of women. To develop the leadership quality of women we are organizing Women leadership training camps.

Local Self Governance: The objective of this Programme was educate CBOs in grassroots level to understand of Govt. plan policies & facilities which will help them to identify common issues & demand their rights as well as better implementation of various welfare programme that should be done by the 3 tire system of Panchayat raj. Participants from different level i.e. elected PRI Members, Ex-Sarapanch, VDC members, SHG members, and ADC member, Youth club members from the district Puri were participated in the conducted programmes of Axitech foundation.
