HEALTH AWARNESS

Mother and Child Care:b> The IMR & MMR rate of the area is very high. Due to lack of awareness, superstition, the tribal of Kalahandi district are adopting traditional birth system. Rarely do they prefer to go Hospital; rather they prefer to consult with a quack. Also there are no proper health facilities around the tribal villages. So Axitech Foundation is trying to bring awareness among the people for prevention of diseases and prevent IMR and MMR by influencing them to consult with ANM, Anganwadi workers and doctors. Also we are arranging Health Camp and workshop on mother and child care.
Malaria Awareness: Malaria is the most dangerous disease in Kalahandi. The malaria death tool is much higher than any other place in Orissa. The high frequency of malaria is due to lack of awareness in the community. So we are making awareness for the prevention of malaria through rallies, meeting and distribution of medicines.
HIV/AIDS awareness Activities: Axitech Foundation is organizing meetings and awareness campaigns through leaflets, posture and wall writing to create mass awareness to prevents HIV and AIDS possibility.
We are also creating Health committees in the remote villages and blocks. These committees are creating health awareness in their villages.
